Student Fees

The Campus Recreation Department is considered an Auxiliary Enterprise and is designed to provide recreational services to students, faculty, staff , other institutional departments, or incidentally to the general public. As such, the designed distinguishing characteristic of an auxiliary enterprise is that it is managed as an essentially self-supporting activity. The majority of the Campus Recreation Department’s funding comes from the Incidental Fee, a set amount that every student pays each term as part of Western Oregon University’s tuition and fees.
