The Center for Academic Innovation is proud to host the Community Lecture Series. The lectures provide an excellent opportunity for community members to engage with WOU faculty and explore informational topics related to current areas of research and expertise. These monthly presentations are free and open to the public.

Kristin Mauro holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Research Methods in the Human Sciences from Iowa State University. Dr. Mauro also holds a Master’s degree in Human Sciences from Our Lady of the Lake University. As a Student Affairs professional, she has over 15 years of experience in Academic Advising, Curriculum Development, First-Year Transition, Recruitment, and Retention.

Join us! Everyone in the community is invited to attend.


Location: Werner University Center, Willamette Room

Parking: Free on-campus parking is available in Lot H, next to Werner University Center (WUC)
