Applications will be processed within two weeks of complete application materials being received, including transcripts. Notification of admission is shared via email and mail.

Applying for Admission is FREE and does not require a waiver.

Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and are seeking to complete a subsequent bachelor’s degree can apply for admission to WOU as a post-bacc using our undergraduate application.

Non-Degree Seeking

A non-degree seeking student is a person who is qualified to enroll for classes at Western Oregon University (WOU), but is not seeking to earn a degree or other university credential for which formal admission to the university is required.

Returning Students

Students who previously attended Western Oregon University and were last enrolled over a year ago will need to complete a Re-enrollment form through the Registrar’s Office and meet with a Degree Completion Advisor.

Degree Partnership Program

The Degree Partnership Program, or DPP for short, is a dual-enrollment program that allows students to take classes at WOU and a partner Community College.
