Wednesday, March 7th, 2018; 10:30 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Prospective students and their guests are required to register online. However, current WOU students are not required to register for the program. If you are a high school counselor or community college staff member and wish to bring a group of students to the event, please contact June McMillan at email@example.com. Agencies who wish to participate in the Criminal Justice and Government Services Careers Fair should contact the Service Learning and Career Development Office at 503-838-8432 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interested in a future in the criminal justice field?
If you are interested in a future in the criminal justice field, Criminal Justice Careers Day is the perfect time to explore educational and employment opportunities. High school and college students are welcome to attend this event. Explore the fields of law enforcement, corrections, parole and probation, community crime prevention and other criminal justice professions during the Career Opportunities Panel. Meet with representatives from law enforcement, correctional institutions, detention and jail facilities, juvenile and adult probation and parole programs and various special service fields at the career fair. Obtain information about college degree programs, academy training and employment opportunities. Eat lunch at Valsetz Dining Hall and tour campus with a WOU student ambassador. Faculty representatives from the criminal justice department and the Admissions Office will also be available.

Learn more about the career opportunities available to you from a panel of Criminal Justice professionals. Panel members will be available to answer questions at the conclusion of the panel.

Meet with representatives from a variety of different agencies regarding employment opportunities, internships, and much more.

Please report to the Admissions Office ten minutes prior to the tour departure time. Tours are led by a current WOU student.

One student will receive a $500 scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic year. Representatives from the Admissions Office will be available to answer your final questions.
