Non-admitted students

A non-admitted student (non-degree seeking student) must meet one of the following circumstances:

  1. High school students participating in an official WOU high school partnership program
  2. Students enrolled in courses through the Center for Academic Innovation
  3. Students approved to take undergraduate or graduate courses for use at another institution or life-long learning
  4. Members of the WOU staff

A non-admitted student is required to abide by all the rules and regulations of the university as listed in the catalog and schedule of classes.....Click Here

Post-Baccalaureate Application

Students who have already completed a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university may still need to take some undergraduate coursework to apply towards a graduate program requirements, a second degree, or just for personal benefit.  If you received your bachelors degree from Western Oregon University, there is no cost for this application.  If your degree is from another college or university the cost for this application is $60.00.  Click Here for the Post-Bacc Application.

RE: 2016 Delmer Dewey and Julia McCulloch Smith Award Recipients

WOU's annual Leadership Recognition Night was held this week. These are the awards (Dewey & Smith Awards) for WOU's Outstanding Graduating Students for 2016 and these students will speak at the June 11 Commencement. Please take an opportunity to congratulate these students on their excellent achievements!

Delmer Dewey Award: John Goldsmith. John is from Klamath Falls, OR. He is graduating with a B.A. in English Literature.

Julia McColloch Smith Award: Han Nguyen. Han is from Gresham, OR. She is graduating with a B.S. in Biology.

The Campus Selection Committee also named Honorable Mentions for each award. These students deserve congratulations, too! Dewey Award: Bryan Kelley (La Grande, OR, B.A. Humanities). Smith Award: Rachel Feldhaus (Hillsboro, OR, B.S. Gerontology) and Stephanie Torrez (Grants Pass, OR, B.S. Biology).

Hello Everyone!

Students traveling to Honduras this upcoming Summer to build schools for villages in Northern Honduras along with students who served the Portland community this past Spring Break are collaborating to host a car detailing fundraiser open to students, faculty, and staff. We appreciate all the support we can get!

When: Tuesday May 10th - Thursday May 12th 8am-4pm.

Where: Werner University Parking Lot (H Lot)

Look for the reserved area.

What: Car detailing services. You can get: Clean Car $20- includes vacuum, windows, dusting and swiping interior and picking up garbage and for $10 more get a car wash. We will clean the wheels, the license plates, etc. and leave it squeaky clean. Price for just interior is $20 and for just exterior is $10.

On behalf of the football team, the WOU Athletic Department would like to invite you to the 2016 Spring Game at McArthur Field on Saturday, May 7. The game, with free admission for all, is set to kick off at 3 p.m. There will be a kid's clinic held prior to the game, at 1 p.m. Following the game, there will be a BBQ.
